Hello, my name is Tom Darabaris and I’ve been in and out of the hobby for nearly 30 years now. In all that time there’s only one fish that I keep going back to time and time again, The Guppy.
It seems to me that there is always another Line/Strain to keep, and always an excuse to add more tanks to the rack. Or add more racks to the room! Tank Acquisition Disease (TAD) is real.
So, in my case I’ve decided to install a ‘Fishroom’ in my basement and to begin selling Guppies and other fish and plants to further my disease. At the very least, this will concentrate fish-keeping activities to a single room instead of running all over the house with buckets, hoses, and nets in tow.
At best, I’ll add a few converts to the hobby.
